The body is an amazingly intelligent system and is constantly communicating with you. Unfortunately, the Western system has trained us to completely ignore our bodies and override its unique massages. Tired? Have a coffee! In pain? Take a tablet! This is one of the reasons we get ill and struggle to recover from injury. But once you start to listen to the subtle language of the body, you can respond to its messages before anything gets out of hand.

Every illness starts in the emotional field, and each body part relates to a different action, when you pair them up it can help you to understand what you need to do to heal. For example, pain in your lower back relates to feeling unsupported in your life. If you have persistent back pain, take a look at the different areas of your life and see where you need more support. It might mean asking for more help, or a more drastic change, but understanding will help you to heal the problem at its root.

When you come for a massage with me we will discuss any persistent issues you have and dig down to the root problem, so that the healing can happen on multiple levels.
